The political consulting firm Zimmerman And Associates is rumored to have been chosen to run the Charter Change Ammendment set to appear on the Novembers ballot. The backers of the charter change – the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) - are putting together the money to fund the campaign. Word is there isn’t many other organization stepping up to the financial table to help SALC educate voters on the charter change initiative.

Zimmerman ran the failed Prop 200 which would lock in the charter the police and fire staffing levels. The Tucson Association of Realtors put together the team to run Prop 200.  Early polling showed the public very much in support of 200, pre polling showed 70% for the initiative.

After spending over $400k and running the community through a dismal campaign accentuated by actual times would cause more citizen deaths, the proposition lost at the ballot box 60-40. The business community splintered including The Tucson Chamber who showed up at the Zoo with the entire Democratic Machine and the campaign lost.

911 calls insinuating that longer response

The Cops and Fire suffered retaliative cuts for their support, two head rolled at Zimmerman including Collin Zimmerman, none other than the son of the husband and wife team of Zimmerman and Associates.

Collin Zimmerman is linked to the Paton for Congress campaign who just hired Nathan Sproul from Lincoln Strategies to run his 11th hour, hail Mary, go for broke negative campaign.

If you see Zimmerman on the opposite side of you in a heated campaign. Sit back and watch them implode, spend your money and then come back to the table for the next race.

Unfortunately the business geniuses that have drove this community into the toilet keep hiring the firm despite their direct connections to the Democratic Machine. Good luck SALC, take your next pile of political money out back and burn it. Invite the Chamber of Commerce while you’re at it, they’ll bring the hot dogs.
